Pauline Fern Fillpot, 82, was born to Otis O. and Laura B (Danner) West on May 25, 1939 in Bates County Missouri. She passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada, MO.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Peggy, Betty and Frances, 6 brothers, Bill, Charles, Tom, Walter, Otho and Bobby Wayne, one daughter; Laura Marie and one son; Gary, two grandsons, Jay and Dillon as well as her husband, George Fillpot and her longtime companion, Marvin Vittetoe.
She is survived by four children, Debbie and Tim Shreve, Bud and Nancy Fillpot, Bob and Anna Fillpot, Wanda and Rodney Diggins, 7 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pauline, was also called “Dude” and “Fernie”. She was a loving mom, grandma and great-grandma, and she enjoyed the simple life. She spent years painting houses with her sister and best friend, Peg Woodall. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time with and having her family close by. She enjoyed hosting fish fry’s, even though she didn’t like crowds or drawing attention to herself. She enjoyed going to the Casino even when the car got locked with the keys inside. Pauline loved watching westerns and listening to music. She will be missed greatly by all that loved her.
Funeral will be held at Heuser Funeral home on Wednesday, June 23rd at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Rich Hill, MO. Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
Memorials are suggested to Rich Hill Memorial Library and/or the Rich Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
