Peggy Ruth Corp, 71, of Hume, Mo, passed away peacefully on February 10th, 2022 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Peggy Ruth (McCullough) Corp was born August 26, 1950 in Durant, Oklahoma. She graduated in 1968 from Lone Jack High School, Lone Jack, Missouri. On May 3, 1969, she married Warren E. Corp. Together, they had three children Christopher “Matt”, Liberty, and Jacob. Peggy worked in the banking industry the majority of her career. In 2013, she retired from Farmers State Bank in as a loan officer after 13 years. Prior, she spent 20 years at Prescott State Bank, working her way up to Vice President. Peggy was an intelligent, quick witted, funny, and endearing woman. She loved her family with all her heart. She adored being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was kind and would help anyone in need. She enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, and doing diamond paintings. She made the best "Corp sweet tea" around. She also loved made and occupied in Japan ceramics. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Gloria and Jasper Jackson; sisters, Patty Jo Milke and Nancie Ann Phillips; brother, Jimmy McCullough and nephews, Travis Jackson McCullough, and Jason McCullough. She is survived by her husband, Warren E. Corp of Hume, Missouri; sister Donnie (Renee) Parrish, her three children , Christopher “Matt” Corp, Liberty Arnold, and Jacob Corp and his wife Samantha; ten grandchildren, Jackson Arnold, Isabella and her husband Justin Harris, Adrian Arnold, Ian Corp, Issac Corp, Mackenzie Corp, Matthew Corp, Nicholas Coker, Meilah Corp, and Wyatt Corp. She also leaves one great grandson Leonardo Corp, and many nieces and nephews
Funeral service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Hume Christian Church. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, Foster, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Church. Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com
